Yes, typically. The discovery session works best with a direct look at the tools and workflows involved, whatever's relevant to the areas you want examined. Everything shared is treated as confidential, and an NDA is available on request before any access is granted.
What deliverables do I keep?+
A written audit report ranking your top opportunities by cost and effort, the workflow maps built during discovery, and a results walkthrough call to go over it together.
